Mickey Shunick Memorial Bike Ride - Saturday, 9/29/12 @ 5 p.m.

Join Bike Lafayette at the Community Celebration to Honor Mickey Shunick on September 29, 2012 at Parc International downtown.  Gates open at 11:30 a.m. with festivities beginning at noon.  At 5 p.m., take part in a public bike ride following the route Mickey took the morning of May 19th. We are encouraging attendees to either ride or bring their bicycles to Parc International so that they may join the ride. The ride will conclude with the permanent placement of a “ghost bike” at the end of St. Landry Street as a tribute to Mickey.
